Best of Millionaire - Sunday

It is now the day of the premiere for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and I must say I've had a really fun time working on this Best of Millionaire Week. Tonight, I will be playing along with ABC's Enhanced TV. Yes they even brought back that element to play along with the show. But, anyway before we get on with the show, it's time for my ALL TIME FAVORITE CONTESTANT ON MILLIONAIRE.

Put the following letters in order for an actor's name:
A. N
B. O
C. R
D. M

If you put them in the right order, it's ABCD, and you get the answer NORM? NORM PETERSON no NORM MACDONALD, and here he is. He may not have won the $1,000,000, but he took away $500,000! And was really close but walked away.

Millionaire Marathon

I am pretty much going to clarify, GSN will be running the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?: The Special 10th Anniversary Marathon. It will be running from 9:00am EST to 6:00PM EST. It won't be running until 8:00PM when the new ones premiere so you need to be able to go from 6-8PM Est which is 2 hours of no millionaire!

Game Show Video of the Week! - 8/3/09 - 8/10/09

Here is the video of the week. I figure I'd get my wheels turning with Michelle Lowenstein's $1,000,000 victory on Wheel of Fortune:

Here is the winning of the $1,000,000:

And here is the clip of her returning to talk on a later show:

Again congratulations Michelle on being the first $1,000,000 winner on Wheel of Fortune! And I will say this congratulations on being the Game Show Video of the Week!

GSNLive - Update.

Last week, GSNLive brought us a new game called Clued In. Unfortunately, after last week, it has been officially decided that the game is discontinued at the moment.

Also up on the block is that they fixed the way you can enter now. It used to be you can get 20 times per hours (10 Phone-in and 10 Website). Now they updated it so you may only enter 10 times per hour on the site and 1 time per hour via the call in, so it's now 11 times per hour.

The next sweepstakes has been announced to be GSNLive's Summer Sizzle Sweepstakes, the winner will be getting a nice Summer of Fun Prize Package, which includes a Backyard Barbacue and a hot tub. So enjoy their patio set.

And Finally, this is the last week for the Money Meter. As of August 7, 2009, this game will now longer be featured as a game for GSNLive. Just a heads up they may be replacing it with something new, who knows? I guess we just got to wait and see.

Best of Millionaire - Monday

Since we are all doing a countdown to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The 10th Anniversary Edition, I have some important updates for you all. To commemorate Regis' return to the Hot Seat, GSN will be hosting a Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? marathon this weekend. Also this blog will be hosting my favorite videos of the show in addition to the Video's of the Week. Now to kick off the Best of Millionaire, I have selected Nancy Christy's triumph on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'s Day Time Version. It's not a Regis Episode but it's a favorite of mine of Millionaire History w/ the first US Female Millionaire Winner.

GSN Schedule

After finally getting to the time to do it, I post the GSN Schedule for the Programming block to the blog. I finally decided that it's time to do it, just a note all times listed are for EST.

BSN Question Correction...and update

GSN's Big Saturday Night as I stated earlier has discontinued it's games. This is true. Also for the question list I pretty much got them from the GSN's Big Saturday Night Question Print-out page, and for question five I must correct it for #5 it's:

5. On the TV series "LOST", what's the name of the project that came to the island to conduct research experiments?

Again I am sorry about that, and had to correct that error.

Also one more thing. I have seen complaints on the GSN Buzz forums that people did not receive the 300 oodles as original thought by everyone. I am now going to clarify why there are only 100 oodles giving to everyone. Even though this is the run down on what happened:
  • Game 1 - Blue Won
  • Game 2 - Tie
  • Game 3 - Red Won
GSN only gave oodles for the Game 2 Tie. They did not give out oodles for the wins on games 1 and 3. If Game Show Trivia (Saturday Edition) question # 6 changes, then I will repost what the new question is but not the answers. Again I do apologize on it.

Big Saturday Night Games Are Over!

Originally slated to end in August, 2009, the Big Saturday Night Games have come to an end as of last week. We've gotten the word that the site is not offering the Phone Entries for the on air game as well as the number is coming up "Sorry" and the game is done; however, 20Q and The Money List is going to continue on as well as the Inbox $25,000 Sweepstakes and Oodles Game Show Trivia (Saturday Edition) will continue on as always. Thought the $25,000 Inbox Sweepstakes will be ending in August as planned. So the current line up for GSN's Big Saturday Night programming block will be as follows:
20Q w/ Cat Deeley & Hal Sparks as Mr. Q (8-9PM);
Deal or No Deal w/ Howie Mandel & The Banker (9-10PM)
The Money List w/ Fred Roggin of GSN Live fame (10-11PM)
Then episodes will repeat from 12-2am.

Here are the questions to answer for the Big Saturday Night Line-up
  1. At the start of today's 20Q, what video game did Mr. Q say he rules at?
  2. On today's 20Q, what classic TV show did Mr. Q say he was streaming a rerun of?
  3. What were the Deal or No Deal Models wearing as they made their entrance on today's show?
  4. What's the nickname that Deal or No Deal contestant Amy has for her husband Wayne?
  5. In which movie, featured on The Money List, did Bruce Willis play a character named Joe Hallen back?
  6. Featured on today's episode of The Money, whose portrait appears on the U.S. $100 bill?
I will not be revealing the answers at all!!!!! I am only reporting the Questions only! If I do reveal answers from any of the GSN Oodles Questions, I may end up getting myself in trouble with my own oodles at risk because it would be considered colluding on the answers. I will continue to keep you updated on game shows and what is going on, but for right now, have some fun with the Saturday Night Oodles.

Another Game Show Pilot Shot?

I've found out some good information, not only did CBS decide to tape pilots for the $1,000,000 Pyramid and Let's Make a Deal. They also taped a pilot for The Dating Game. Now you all know the format but if you don't here it is:

Each Game: A Man or a Woman gets a chance to ask 3 possible women/men questions, and after the question round, then Man or woman will decide of the 3 possibilties who they want to date.

So, this is a possible chance of taking on the role along side $1,000,000 Pyramid and Let's Make a Deal. So, depending on CBS' decision, I hope they choose a good idea for the afternoon to play up against ABC's and NBC's line-up as well as a good programming to go up against GSN Live's line up!

Coming in the future from us
