The Future of classics on GSN

It's time to think about the future of classics.

Classics GSN Use to air:

1. Press Your Luck

2. Blockbusters

3. Child's Play
4. Card Sharks (Rafferty)

5. What's My Line?

6. I've Got a Secret

7. The Name's The Same

8. Password

9. Super Password

10. Password Plus

11. The Newlywed Game (Eubanks)

12. Love Connection

13. Let's Make a Deal

14. Wheel of Fortune

15. Tic Tac Dough

16. Jeopardy!

Here are some classics GSN aired for (I think a year or something):

1. Double Dare

2. Body Language

3. Beat The Clock

Total: 19 classics.

GSN aired shows like Tic Tac Dough to test and see what shows people would much rather watch. GSN would rather watch shows like Deal or No Deal, Family Feud (O'Hurley, Karn) etc. There popular originals are: The Newlywed Game, Baggage, Catch 21.

Late Night Liars apparently bombed in the ratings. Last night was the season finale. I think GSN airs too much Deal or No Deal...Ridiculous.

A Welcoming!

We are excited that we've now added Phimat37 from GSN.com to our Blog's Posters Lineup!!!!! Give him a great welcoming and treat him with the same Game Show respect as you do me!!! Just a heads up we'll have fun fun fun until the end of the summer time!

Games Shows Release Dates!!

Well, we now got some release dates for you all for this fall's Video Games!!!!!!!!!

First off we got the must anticipated Hollywood Squares, from Ludia, and will be for the Wii & PC platforms! The average price for the Wii Game will be $29.99 and will be out on October 5, 2010. However, those who want to play it on the PC will have about a month before hand because the release date is September 7, 2010, and the price for it will be $19.99. (Please note that the prices listed here are from Amazon.com). Pretty much both games will be the same play where you have to play through it to unlock stuff and have fun. Amongst the show's celebrities that have been brought to the game is Host Tom Bergeron, Kathy Griffin, Brad Garrett, Jeffy Tambor, and even Martin Mull as the center square. You'll have Multiplayer and Single Player Mode options. So if you like playing with X's and O's you'll be enjoying this game!

Another game this year added into the Ludia family will be none other than Who Wants to be a Millionaire?! The Game is going to be made for the Wii, DS, and PC platforms
! Both the DS and Wii Games will be released on October 5, 2010, like the H2 Hollywood Squares.
And will contain the game elements from the show.
Pretty much take the timer
version of the ga
me and add in the Press Your Luck, Family Feud, & The Price is Right games's avatars, you can create your own and play to see if you can get the Millionaire! The Price you'll be paying will be $29.99 for the Wii & DS, and the $19.99 for the PC Game, which the suggested street date is September 7, 2010! So get your Life Lines ready along with Merdith Veira's version of the show. Which this will mark the first time since Meredith has taken over that the show's game will be the Daytime Format a Millionaire PC Game! Good Luck and Get the Millions on that!

Now by popular demand, as brought in the last post, Wheel
of Fortune will be released this year as well. Brought out this year by THQ. For the first time ever both Pat Sajak and Vanna White will be hosting the game. Bringing us for the first time ever for the Nintendo Platform since the N64 release of a wheel game, it's bringing us the current format and also compatible with W
ii Speak, allowing gamers to now only shout out
letters but also solving the puzzles! The price will be for both the Wii and DS is $29.99. And will hit the streets November 2, 2010. So remember not only has the show spun it's way into our hearts and also our televisions, but it's also been around for over 28 years (Daytime & Nighttime Combined) This show will be allowing us to also have the Free Play and Wild Card, so anyway good
luck and avoid the bankrupt.

Finally the last game to be released this year also by THQ is none other than Jeopardy! Like Wheel of Fortune this game is also going to be
released by THQ and on Novmeber 2, 2010. Bringing the elements of the game to it, this game will also be compatible with the Wii Speak. You can either play with your own Mii's or pre-made avatars for the game a
s well as Alex Trebek is back! The set used is the most recent set that they started using in 2009. Anyw
ay like Pat and Vanna, a Mii version of Alex is used (much like how it was done with Deal or No Deal). Oh also don't forget when you shout out your answers using the Wii Speak, they must be in a form of a question!!! So enjoy the clues that will be many and playing the game as the show is brought to your very own living room as you play the game!

Finally, don't forget last year's games:

Squarse and Wheels?

Hey Everyone,

First off I want to say that I am sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I've been very busy with work and some new projects lined up that I hadn't really any time to update the blog. But I do have something to announce.

First off, when searching the net to see if there was any updated news on the Hollywood Squares, I found the first of possibly many images that are going to be shown online. This is really something special. Credit for this image goes to Frisky Mongoose. Pretty much the game will have clips from the TV Show as well as Multiplayer Games. Like Press Your Luck, The Price is Right, and Family Feud the Game will allow you to create avatars, and play the game as on the TV Show. But it is still slated for later on in 2010, probably around October/November maybe December. But there is no information on which of the bonus rounds, and which host they picked but all in all it looks like a promising game and I hope we finally get a chance to the squares in video game form. This will be the first game since the one released in 1989 based on the Davidson. But by looking at the picture it looks like it's based off the 1998-2004 version. Anyway I can't wait until I get a copy myself.

Now moving on we now to got part two. After also checking that I found a copy of the Wheel of Fortune 2010 to see if it got updated I found the trailer and I have it here for you, this looks promising as well as since you can use your Miis to play in there. The Game play will mirror that of the show. As well as have the Free Play, Wild Card, and Million $$ Wedge. It also features Mii Versions of Pat Sajak & Vanna White (I believe this is the first game to incorporate both Vanna and Pat). Also unlike the previous games. The Game will utilize the Wii Speak to shout out letters and solve puzzles. Anyway the trailer is below to view it.

I will try to get some updates as soon as I can but anyway thank you for your time and remember to Win Win Win!
