Sherri Shepherd to Host “Newlywed Game”; Now Casting, Begins November 1st

Buzzerblog reported today that the rumors were true. There has been alot of buzz about Sherri Shepherd hosting The Newlywed Game. Sherri Shepherd is a panelist on The View.

Here is the casting info: "The only real stipulation is you have to be married for less than two years. If that’s you, you can be on the show and play for a second honeymoon. To apply, email CastingNewlyweds@gmail.com and include a recent photo, date you were married, phone number, your email address, and then your city and state. After you email this to them, you’ll get an application and hopefully you’ll get on the show."

I'm glad that Carnie is gone. I am happy that she isn't hosting but I am not a fan of Sherri or The View. I would take Jeff Foxworthy over her but, atleast it isn't Carnie Wilson hosting.

Oodle-Tunities: Game of the Week (08/16/10 - 08/22/10)

GSN going HD in September

I heard this from Buzzerblog, GSN will be going in HD September 15th. Here is what Buzzerblog said is going to be HD:

" If you look at upcoming schedules you’ll see that basically all of GSN’s originals will be in HD. Newlywed Game, Catch 21, Late Night Liars, High Stakes Poker and Million Dollar Poker Challenge will all be in HD for sure."

They are not sure about Doubles Poker. Doubles Poker will premiere tomorrow replacing Million Dollar Challenge I think.

GSN reviving 1 vs. 100

This news is probably old news but, GSN is reviving 1 vs. 100. Not sure on who will host the show, the only thing I know is, it's coming back.

The money ladder could stay the same, the setting could but, who knows? I want your thoughts: What do you think could change on 1 vs. 100 and how? Just comment below.

Buzzerblog.com has reported this. Here is what I predict: The setting will stay the same. The money ladder will change (because right now, GSN seems to be going cheap. I can't think about what could be the money ladder but, if a person goes all the way, they could win $250,000 or $500,000.
