CBS's possible reviving Gameshows for Daytime!

Well as you all know that one of their long running soap operas called Guiding Light was cancelled this year. But your probably wondering to yourself, what will be taking it's place for CBS Daytime? Can be another soap opera? Well one of the big ideas that's being tossed around now is having two revived game shows from CBS' past to returning.

First up on the list is the $1,000,000 Pyramid. Taking us back to the olden days of with Dick Clark, it takes us back to an updated version of the set. However, Donny Osmand & Dick Clark are not returning; however, two possible hosts have been thrown into the mix. The is official that have been taping the pilots are Tim Vincent (from Access Hollywood) and Dean Cain (of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and Ripley's Believe It or Not Fame). Amongst Celebrities that have been stated to have been around are comedienne Susie Essman, actor Jesse Metcalfe (from John Tucker Must Die), and former Jeopardy! champion and current GSN Live personality Ken Jennings. From what is stated, gameplay will be the same as the $100,000 Pyramid. The elimination round will 30 seconds to guess the 7 items in 1 of 6 categories. The Winner's Circle will be played 60 seconds to get 6 items for $10,000. The contestants will be playing for the top 4 spots and 2 wild card spots for the League of Champions. And will be going for the $1,000,000 prize. Who knows maybe this series will take off and be a regular for years to come!

And the other show that's most likely gunna be on the block with the Pyramid is Let's Make a Deal. That's right the old Monty Hall game show would be returning for another go. This show will be bring back the old ZONK! prizes and will be lead at the helm with Wayne Brady of Whose Line is it Anyway? and Don't Forget the Lyrics fame.

If these two come to the Day time schedule this fall for CBS you can Bet Your Life on it that I will be watching and keeping track! And maybe try contacting to become a contestant on them if they go into major production!
